We loved Apache so much that we just had to have her full sister, Shawnee, when we heard she was for sale. Shawnee is not only beautiful but she has the most comical personality of just about any donkey that we have met. She is so dark brown that she almost looks black and white and she has a perfect spot pattern. She is stocky and correct and has everything we look for in a jennet. These photos were taken in November with her thick winter coat. She will be drop dead gorgeous when we take her photos over again when she is body clipped one day.
