Mingo is registered as a miniature but we measure her at 38 inches tall. She has been pasture exposed to a 31" Gray-Dun Jack, G. Moss Buddy, from May to August of 2004, and she appears to be very much in foal. Mingo is a little bit shy and you have to walk slowly and talk gently to catch her but once she is caught she is a complete sweetheart. We have been told that she produces foals that are under the 36" height requirement for miniatures. She is up to date on vaccinations, worming, and hoof trims and has a negative coggins test dated 8/04/04.

Cleopatra has an underbite and will be sold as pet quality. She is a gorgeous jennet and she is probably not going to grow much more. All her noted ancestors were either dark brown, brown, or brown and white spotted except for one gray-dun. She has a nice round rear and very correct legs. Juliet is a beautiful jennet. These photos don't do her justice as she needs a bath and it is just too cold here to take a chance on her getting sick. She has a perfect bite and she is very correct. She is only a year and a half away from breeding age and she could be shown until you were ready to bred her. Dam:  Suncreek's Ebony, 32½" True Black, no cross
Grand Sire:  Soderglen Black Beans, 33¼" True Black, no cross
Grand Dam:  Brown Eyed Susie of Suncreek, Brown

Sable is the result of crossing some very straight, drafty, well conformed donkeys with interesting black and sorrel genetics. Her sire is a compact, drafty, and small dark red (sorrel) and her dam is a true jet black. Her grand dam, Venus Grace, is a real dark red (sorrel) beauty who sold at auction for $12,000 in July, 2002. Her grand sire, Black Beans, also a very high selling donkey at auction, carries concentrated black genetics and has produced a number of true black foals. It will be very interesting to see what Sable Princess produces when she attains breeding age. Here is a super jennet with the pedigree to produce blacks for you. She is correct and as sweet as they come and she was aptly named as her color resembles a luxurious sable mink. I measured her out in the pasture today so the height may not be accurate. I will measure her on concrete the next time I have her at the barn and correct her height if needed.

Miss October is a dark rich color - and she has the color genetics behind her to produce spots or sorrels. She has a short beautiful head and is almost of age to go to work for you in your breeding program. She is a great grand daughter of the legendary Circle C Little Motown on her top side and The Fireman on the the bottom side for the best of both worlds... dark sorrels and blacks! Her bite is good and she is up to date on all vaccinations, etc. Please forgive these partially clipped donkeys...it is so very hard to find good help anymore!! I measured her out in the pasture today so the height may not be accurate. I will measure her on concrete the next time I have her at the barn and correct her height if needed.

Nutmeg has a perfect bite and one of those wonderful round rears we all look for in our brood jennets. Her legs are very correct. Her registration papers say she is 32" but we measured her at 34½". She has a slight broken crest from gaining a lot of weight. She is a sweet jennet that has many more years left for having foals. Nutmeg has been exposed to a 31" sorrel jack, My World Tigger, since November and she definatley looks to be in foal.

Checkers has a long extended pedigree going back to the orginal imports. His dam is registered as a dark brown & white spot but I had her here on my farm and I body clipped her and she is definately a black and white spot. Here is another photo of his dam, Raggedy Ann. Checkers is a very sweet boy...easy to catch and easy to handle. He has had several baths and haircuts and he is use to being around people, dogs, and other donkeys. He is very, very dark brown and white..some of his spots look black. He just had a bath in the photos above and he was still wet and cold and had a hump in his back. He really has a very smooth top line. He has been shown one time and won the weanling/yearling jacks at halter class and was 3rd in the color class. He is up to date on vaccinations, worming and hoof trims. We will deliver Checkers within a reasonable distance for a small extra fee.

This little boy would show well in the American Council of Spotted Assess classes as his spot pattern is very symetrical and 50/50. This little gelding also has show quality conformation and he is stocky and tiny with a nice round rear. We just purchased him from My World Farm who raises some of the best sorrel donkeys in the country. She gelds most of her jacks even though some of them are nice enough to have been future herd sires. We sell so many geldings as pets that we can't keep enough here for our customers so we travel to Ohio and pick out her best to have geldings to offer to our customers in the South. He is up to date on wormings, vaccinations, and hoof trims and he has a negative coggins test dated 11/24/04 and he will have a health certificate if sold out of state. We will discount if you buy more than one donkey. Donkeys are very sociable and will be lonely if they don't have a friend. Please excuse the quality of these photos. It has been raining here for days and was still a very overcast day when we could finally take photos.

Grand Sire:  Windcrest Little Red Man, 31" Dark Sorrel (Red)
Grand Dam:  Windcrest Red Ruby, Sorrel (Red)

Here is a super duper show quality future gelding prospect. We are not quite sure of his color but whether he is rose-dun or gray-dun he is very striking with his unusual 'no light points' and the roaning throughout his coat. He loves everyone and doesn't have a shy bone in his body. He is very stout, stocky, and square. I purchased his dam just a few days ago with this little fellow on her side. His dam is one of the most beautiful jennets you will ever see with show quality conformation. Click here to see a head shot of his dam. I have seen his sire in person and he is one of the most gorgeous sorrel jacks I have ever laid my eyes on and he is a former show winner.

Big Bad John has not been officially named yet so he can be named with your farm name if you so desire if he is sold soon as I plan to send his papers in next week. He will be ready to be weaned around Thanksgiving but I would be willing to hold him until Christmas. I will also be willing to deliver within a reasonable distance for a small extra fee. He has a negative coggins report dated 11/13/04.

Roscoe is a great grand son of   Rainbow's Cocco who has been a multiple show winner including Hartman's International Miniature Donkey Show - Grand Champion in '89 and '93. She and her foal sold for $20,000 at the Hartman's First International Miniature Donkey Sale where Cocco also stood Grand and Supreme Champion Jennet at the show that year. Roscoe reminds me a lot of his great grandmother who I have seen in person and who I think is a gorgeous jennet.       Grand Sire:  Untraced
      Grand Dam:  Untraced

Digger is tall (right under the line of 36" in height) but built like a tank and he is under the legal height requirements for a miniature donkey so he can be shown in sanctioned shows. Digger is a sweet boy but he was mistreated by a previous owner's (not his breeder!) trainer and will probably never be a real safe driving donkey unless you are a top notch trainer that can spend a lot of time with him. Digger has four months professional driving training by Jack Pentland in Indiana. Jack said that Digger is a nice driving donkey but he needs a lot more work with someone one on one until he totally trusts them. He is still a very green driving donkey and, therefore, he is unpredictable and he may never be a donkey that just anyone could drive. He is a gorgeous dark red (sorrel) color. Digger would make an excellent companion or guard donkey. He would also do very well in halter conformation classes at donkey shows. He is up to date on all his vaccinations and has a negative coggins test. Digger is registered with The Miniature Donkey Registry in Texas. The photos above were taken on July 3rd, 2004, after his new owner and friends spent all day washing and clipping him!

Candy Bill is the most precious little baby you could ever hope for. He is five months old. He is broke to lead and up to date on all vaccinations and hoof trims and he has a negative coggins report. When he was born his left back hoof was a little crooked but it is almost completely unnoticeable now and we expect it to be perfectly straight in a couple more hoof trimmings. He is perfectly sound. This little guy just loves people. We are not sure if he is going to shed off gray or brown but one thing is certain...he will still be precious! He is very stocky and stout with a tiny gorgeous head and a good bite. His color looks different in the pictures above because the sun kept going in and out while we were taking his photos. Both his sire and dam have been on this farm and they are both fantastic donkeys. We expect no less out of Candy Bill.

Grand Dam:   T.E.F. Holiday Heartbeat, Gray

CrossRoads, aka Roady, was born one month early. He was a complete surprise. CrossRoad's name came from the Tim McGraw song that was playing the morning he was born. CrossRoads has a nice square body with a short back, good bone like his sire and dam, straight legs, and a round rear end. His dam has the most gorgeous rump on a donkey I have ever seen. He is a very unusual color of brown, almost a russet color, with big eye rings and even markings through out his body. Photos compliments of  K&K Ranch.

Here is the tiniest most precious little spotted jack you will ever see! What a cutie pie he is! He is the most laid back and sweetest thing on this farm! His sire is a full brother to our herd sire, Pepper. If this little guy takes after his father and his uncle he will really be something! I have not sent in his registration papers yet so if he is sold soon he can be registered in your farm name with the name of your choice! He is up to date on vaccinations, worming, etc. and he has a negative coggins report dated 10/13/04.
