Sire:  MJB Jack of Spades, 30½" Black/Brown
Grand Sire:  Dodge City Jack of Spades, 31½" Smoky Black w/NLP & Star
Grand Dam:  MJB Carolotta, 32" Brown

Dam:  Windcrest Kewpie Doll, 33" Brown & White Spot
Grand Sire:  PGF Peppercorn Jack, 29½" Brown
Grand Dam:  Windcrest Sunshine Girl, 33" Dark Brown & White Spotted

We were expecting a great foal from this combination and we were not disappointed. Bling's sire is a half brother to MGF Future Link. Bling's name fits him perfectly as he has plenty of blingage!

Exciting News!! Bling has been sent to Kathy Loudamy at K&K Ranch in Texas for conditioning, training, and showing! We have confidence in Kathy's ability to make Bling a fine little show donkey!

Update! Bling is home from training and were we ever pleased with the condition and attitude of this little donkey after spending 110 days at Kathy Loudamy's training center at K & K Ranch in Texas. Bling has been trained to set up for halter, trot on command, back, and has been well started in trail obstacle.

We purchased an adult jack to use for our spotted herd sire as Bling is related to several of our donkeys so it is with great regret that we are now offering him for sale. Bling is up to date on all vaccinations including West Nile, Rabies, Strangles, E/W/T, Rhino, & Influenza. He has a negative coggins report dated 2/07/06.

We have a video of him performing trail while he was in training at Kathy's and I will send out a copy to interested buyers.

Bling's pedigree is very impressive with 'My World' bloodlines on the bottom and the top filled with small dark donkeys including blacks, no light points, and the tiny 28¾" McLendon's Magnum!

We are very excited to see what Primero will produce crossed with our foundation brood jennets. His pedigree is completely full and goes back to the original imports. It is filled with a variety of colors including sorrel but is dominated by darks. Primero is one of the few registered black and white herd sires in the country. He has a very unique spot pattern with deep halos around every spot. Our second foal crop of babies sired by Primero are due this spring! Photo of Primero's sire, Primo, compliments of Kim Zellers.

We are regretfully offering Primero for sale only because we have purchased another younger spotted jack and we don't have the room for another jack without selling someone. Primero has been nothing but a joy to own. He is very friendly, sweet, and easy to handle. He can be pasture or hand-bred. He is very gentle with the ladies. We have been very pleased with his offspring. He has a perfect bite, straight legs, and very correct conformation. His price is firm! It is very important to us that he goes to a loving home!

Grand Sire:  Dewey Meadows Primo, 32" Black/Brown/White Spot
Grand Dam:  MGF Venus Minuet 610, 32" Dark Brown/Gray

Checkers has a long extended pedigree going back to the orginal imports. His dam is registered as a dark brown & white spot but I had her here on my farm and I body clipped her and she is definately a black and white spot. Here is another photo of his dam, Raggedy Ann. Checkers is a very sweet boy...easy to catch and easy to handle. He has had several baths and haircuts and he is use to being around people, dogs, and other donkeys. He is very, very dark brown and white..some of his spots look black. He just had a bath in the photos above and he was still wet and cold and had a hump in his back. He really has a very smooth top line. He has been shown one time and won the weanling/yearling jacks at halter class and was 3rd in the color class. He is up to date on vaccinations, worming and hoof trims. We will deliver Checkers within a reasonable distance for a small extra fee.

Black Jack (no visible cross!)
DOB: 8/30/99
Height:  32¾"

Sire:  Hartman Donkeys Trenton, 33½" Brown/White Spotted
Grand Sire: Rockbridge Maracas, 33" Gray/White Spotted
Grand Dam: Hartman Donkeys Lass 204

Dam: B.J. Black Beauty, 32¾" Black
     Grand Sire:Circle C Little Motown, 35" Black
Grand Dam:  B.J. Blizzard's Bunny, 35¾" Frosted Spotted White

Rowdy is jet black with no visible cross! He has a wonderful disposition and loves everyone. He can be pasture bred or hand bred and he is extremely easy to handle. These winter photos don't do him justice and you can see by the three 'summer coat' photos how gorgeous he really is. Rowdy has blacks and spotteds in his world class pedigree. He has two foal crops on the ground and his babies have his great looks and temperament. Rowdy would make a fantastic show donkey as he has a lot or presence while still being a joy to handle...a rare combination for a jack! The first day we walked him up to a 15" coon jump he sailed right over it..yet he hardly moved a muscle while we were photographing and clipping him.

This jack is TINY!!!!  Mojave has conformation to die for...very straight and correct...perfect bite...super friendly..halter broken.  He will cross well with sorrel and spotted jennets and would make an outstanding herd sire.  This jack is definitely show quality!!!  He is one of a kind and possibly the best baby ever born on our farm.  If we didn't own his sire he would never be for sale!

Congratulations to Marlene, Mike, and Deanna Lenker of North Carolina on the purchase of the best spotted jack we've ever had to date!!  Well, naturally we think they are all great...but none with the color and markings of this little jack!

Out of Half Ass Acres Christy 32½" very correct dark gray-dun jennet. Foal coat: Tri-colored Dark brown/white/gray spotted.  Not quite 22" 3 days old...he wouldn't be still so he may be smaller - I would rather guess high than low!  He is a full brother to Half Ass Acres Alanis Morrisette, National Grand Champion Spotted Jennet

Pat Scanlan our donkey tree expert:  Harley is the ninth generation of his family and 112 of his ancestors are listed in the donkey tree.  They go all the way back to the great Luigi!!
